2.5inch Coupler
🔩 NomadCoupler – 2.5-Inch (59mm) Magnetic Hose Adapter
Clamp. Click. Camp.
The NomadCoupler is your go-to solution for connecting 2.5-inch diesel heater ducting to your NomadPort passthrough system. Built as a two-piece adapter — a white ASA magnetic ring and a PAHT-CF high-temp carbon fiber collar — this field-tested coupler delivers reliable hold, seamless integration, and zero tool fumbling in the cold.
Whether you're heading into high desert nights or alpine mornings, this coupler locks in tight and stays cool under heat.
🔑 Key Features
🧲 Snap-Fit Magnetic Connection
The ASA outer ring connects directly to your NomadPort with embedded magnets that auto-align and lock in place.
🔥 Heat-Proof Collar for Ducting
Made from PAHT-CF (carbon fiber-reinforced nylon), the hose collar handles direct heat from 2-8kW diesel heaters without softening, slipping, or deforming.
🔩 Clamp-On Duct Fit
The collar accepts standard 2.5-inch heater ducting and is ready to secure with a hose clamp (not included). It's a loose-fit collar, allowing the coupler to rotate freely for easier hose routing.
🌦️ All-Weather Construction
White ASA + carbon-reinforced nylon = gear that's ready for sun, wind, snow, and long-term use.
⚙️ Modular by Design
Part of the Nomad GearWorks ecosystem. Combine with NomadPort and NomadCap for a fully sealed, field-ready system.
🛠️ How It Works
- Clamp your 2.5" duct onto the PAHT-CF collar
- Snap the magnetic ring onto your NomadPort passthrough
- Align & click — the magnets do the rest
- Twist freely for positioning, detach instantly when it's time to pack out
🔹 What's Included:
- 1 ASA magnetic ring adapter (with 8 press-fit magnets)
- 1 PAHT-CF (carbon fiber nylon) hose collar for heat resistance
- Compatible with standard 2.5-inch ducting (clamp not included)
⚠️ Safety & Responsibility
This is a ducting accessory. It is not a heater, not a combustion or exhaust component, and not a certified safety device. It does not make any heater safe to run in or near an enclosed space.
- Always follow your heater manufacturer's instructions.
- Keep heater exhaust outside the tent and away from fabric.
- Maintain proper ventilation and run a working carbon monoxide detector any time a heater is used in or near an enclosed space.
- Duct and adapter surfaces get hot in use. Keep them clear of fabric, bedding, gear, and skin.
- Secure all duct connections before running the heater, and check them each time you set up.
- Adult installation and supervision required.
By purchasing, you accept full responsibility for installation and use, and you accept that Nomad GearWorks is not liable for injury, fire, carbon monoxide exposure, or damage to your tent, heater, or other property. Full details in our Terms of Service.
