The NomadPort Complete Kit bundles everything you need to set up a clean diesel heater duct passthrough in your tent — in one order, at a discount over buying separately.

Stop routing heater ducting through a half-zipped tent door. The NomadPort system installs through tent mesh in minutes, lets the tent flap close over it when not in use, and disconnects cleanly when you break down camp.

Basic Kit

The right starting point if you already have interior ducting sorted or just need the passthrough and one coupler to connect your heater duct on the outside.

Complete Kit

• 1x NomadPort Magnetic Tent Passthrough Ring
• 1x NomadCap Magnetic Cover
• 2x NomadCoupler — same size, one for each side (your choice of 2.5", 3", or 4")

The full working setup. One coupler connects your heater duct on the outside, the second coupler on the inside lets you attach a short interior hose to direct warm air and provide counterbalance to the outside duct. This is how the system works best in the field.

Which Size Do I Need?

• 2.5" — standard ducting for most 2kW diesel heaters
• 3" — common for 5kW and 8kW heaters and some 2kW setups
• 4" — larger heater ducting, Hcalory-compatible setups

If you are unsure, check the duct outlet diameter on your heater. When in doubt, 2.5" covers the majority of small portable diesel heaters.

Interior Hose

The Complete Kit includes two couplers — one for each side of the NomadPort. The interior hose itself is not included and is sourced separately based on your preferred length and duct type. Standard flexible dryer duct in the matching diameter works well and is available at most hardware stores.

Adhesive

The NomadPort rings bond permanently to your tent mesh with super glue (cyanoacrylate), which is not included. Any hardware store CA glue works. A gel formula is recommended over thin liquid, since gel stays put on mesh instead of wicking through the weave. One small tube is plenty for a single install.

Material

All components are printed in outdoor-grade ASA for UV resistance, heat tolerance, and durability in real camp conditions. The NomadCoupler uses a high-heat PAHT-CF carbon fiber nylon collar in the area most likely to see elevated duct temperatures.

⚠️ Safety & Responsibility

NomadPort is a passthrough accessory. It is not a heater, not a combustion or exhaust component, and not a certified safety device. It does not make any heater safe to run in or near an enclosed space.

• Always follow your heater manufacturer's instructions.
• Keep heater exhaust outside the tent and away from fabric.
• Maintain proper ventilation and run a working carbon monoxide detector any time a heater is used in or near an enclosed space.
• Installation permanently modifies your tent. Bonding, cutting, or otherwise altering tent fabric is done at your own risk.
• Duct and coupler surfaces get hot in use. Keep them clear of fabric, bedding, gear, and skin.
• Secure all duct connections before running the heater, and check them each time you set up.
• Adult installation and supervision required.
